This policy explains what happens to the information you give us when you use the quick quote tool or contact us about a wall printing project. We've written it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
Cork Wall Print provides direct-to-wall printing for homes and businesses across Cork and Munster, Ireland. You can reach us at hello@example.com or +353 87 000 0000. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
When you complete the quick quote, we collect only what you type or upload:
- Your details — name, email address, phone number, town, and business name if the project is commercial.
- Your project — the number of walls, their approximate measurements, whether each is light or dark, and any notes you add.
- Your files — photos of your wall and any artwork, logo or image you choose to upload.
- The estimate — the indicative price the calculator produced, so our reply matches what you saw.
We do not ask for payment details, and there is no account to create. The estimate itself is calculated in your browser — nothing is sent to us until you submit the enquiry.
Why we use it
To assess whether your wall is suitable, prepare a quote and, where appropriate, produce a free visual mock-up — and to contact you about that specific enquiry. That's it. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a request you made of us.
We do not add quote enquiries to a marketing list. If we ever introduce marketing emails, it will be through a separate, clearly labelled opt-in that you choose.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is delivered to us by email and stored securely. We use a small number of service providers to make that work — website hosting, file storage and email delivery — and they only process your information on our instructions. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where we complete a project, we keep the relevant records for as long as we're required to for tax and business purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we're using it. Email us and we'll action it — there's no charge and no form to fill in. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies and analytics
This site currently sets no tracking cookies of its own. If we later add advertising or analytics tools to measure which campaigns bring people here, we'll update this section and ask for your consent first where required.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
